Common Questions
We help you address some common questions you may have. If you need more clarity or have a different question that needs to be addressed, please feel free to write to us.
How much of my donation directly supports the cause?
Almost entirely, except for the administrative expenses, likely to be less than 10% of the overall amount received. The administrative costs will cover back-end staff, drivers, logistics and some necessary aids to help us conduct our programs efficiently.
Can I volunteer to participate in the activities
While we have our student community and the working committee to help us conduct most of the programs, we encourage everyone to approach us for volunteering work. You may get an active role to play in some of our programs based on your interests and background.
I am a singer too, can I be part of your programs?
We are happy to state that we have a large student community with some excellent singers who we call upon to sing in the programs we organise. However, if you are keen, please share your recording with us. We may contact you to audition and then enrol you to be selected. We don't guarantee a slot, but we will keep your name in our records.
Can another NGO or Charitable Trust or Foundation partner with you?
Yes, we would be happy to engage as long as it falls within the scope of the objectives we have set for ourselves. We encourage you to read through our mission statement and look through the activities we have conducted to date to check common interests. Please write to us; we would be happy to discuss it.
Can donations be in kind too?
Yes, donations can be in kind, too. Please write to us and share the details; we will get back to you with where and when it will likely be used. If you are amenable to our suggestions, we may recommend some items that will be useful in our upcoming programs.
Can I be part of one of the committees?
We welcome volunteers to our committees. However, it is left to the discretion of the founders to appoint them based on their background, prior work, interest, passion, field of expertise and recommendation from existing committee members or someone from our student community.
I have identified a cause, can the foundation help me execute the program?
If the cause falls within the mission and objectives we have set for ourselves, we would be happy to engage and chart out a way forward. While we are always excited to work for several causes, we may need more time to spare (considering we are into several initiatives ourselves) and the resources we may have.
