Shakti Parva - a special musical program organised by The Shruti Sandhaan Foundation to celebrate International Women's Day.
Two distinguished personalities - Mrs.Vandana Gupta (from VCare) and Mrs.Meenakshi Balasubramanyam (from the MBA foundation ) received the Shakti Samman Award for their undying efforts and decades of social work towards the upliftment of society.
Seven women from Sidharth Colony, Chembur were felicitated for taking the effort to hone their skills - three who were trained over a month to sing in the special program and four others who are undergoing training in nail art at the LTA Academy Thane.
It was an evening filled with melodious and foot tapping music and a celebratory mood all around.
