Tailoring Project

Skilling 14 women from Sidharth Colony, Chembur, Mumbai in the art of tailoring.

Women empowerment is one of the core themes of The Shruti Sandhaan Foundation. This initiative of ours will be eight months long.

Besides taking care of the cost of training them, we wish to help them get started by handing over a sewing machine each (sponsors welcome).

We even look forward to getting them employed in places where their skill can come of use. We encourage owners of garment factories or boutiques to come forth, either to offer them permanent employment or engage them on a contract basis.
